The text you convert

The converter is JavaScript that runs inside your browser. What you type is read from the input field, transformed in memory and written back into the page. It is never sent to a server, never written to a log, and never stored anywhere we can reach. If you disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded, the generator keeps working, which is the clearest proof of the claim.

What is stored on your device

Two small values are saved in your browser's local storage:

• Your light or dark theme preference, so the site does not flash the wrong colours on your next visit.
• The list of styles you have pinned, so they are still pinned when you come back.

Both stay on your device. We cannot read them, and clearing your browser data removes them completely.

The contact form

If you write to us, the name, email address and message you submit are delivered to our inbox through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that acts as our processor. We keep the message for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served as static files by Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel records standard request information (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. We do not combine those logs with anything else and we do not use them to build a profile of you.

Fonts and third-party requests

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads. That request includes your IP address and is subject to Google's own privacy terms. No other third-party resources are requested by this site.

Analytics and advertising

We do not run third-party analytics, we do not embed advertising scripts, and we do not set tracking cookies. If that ever changes, this page will change first and the date at the top will tell you when.

Children

This site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold, which in practice is only the contents of any message you have sent us. Write to hello@italictextgenerator.net and we will act within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be summarised at the head of the page for at least 30 days.
