1. What this service is

italictextgenerator.net is a free, browser-based tool that converts text into Unicode characters that are drawn in italic and other decorative shapes, together with editorial guides about using them. There is no account, no subscription and no paid tier.

2. Your text and your output

You keep every right you already had in the text you enter. We claim nothing over it, and because the conversion runs entirely in your browser, we never receive it in the first place. The converted output is yours to use however you like, including commercially.

Unicode characters are part of a public standard published by the Unicode Consortium. They are not a licensed typeface, so nothing produced here requires a font licence, a payment or an attribution.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to:

• Impersonate a person or an organisation, or create text intended to deceive.
• Evade a platform's moderation, spam filters or safety systems.
• Harass anyone, or produce content that is unlawful where you or your audience are.
• Scrape, mirror or resell the site's content and code beyond what the licence below allows.

Deliberately styling text to slip past a moderation system is a misuse of this tool, and we will say so plainly if asked.

4. Availability

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it online and correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or remove features. Because the converter runs locally, a page you already have open will keep working even if the site is down.

5. Accuracy and rendering

How these characters look is decided by the fonts installed on the reader's device, not by us. A style that renders beautifully on your phone may appear as empty boxes elsewhere. Our coverage figures describe what Unicode encodes, not what any particular device can draw.

6. Editorial content

Guides describe how third-party platforms behaved when we tested them. Platforms change without notice. Nothing here is legal, marketing or professional advice.

7. Intellectual property

The site's design, written guides and source code belong to Italic Text Generator. You may quote short passages with a link back. You may not republish a guide in full or clone the site.

8. Third-party links

We link to platforms and standards documents for your convenience. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content or their policies.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Italic Text Generator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, including loss of reach, engagement or revenue caused by how a platform treats styled text.

10. Changes

We may revise these terms. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
